One day Liko and the others go watch a Mototokage race, where Liko ends up encountering a Miraidon and Roy ends up encountering a Koraidon. The two mistake these Pokémon for Mototokage and befriend them by feeding them, but when Koraidon and Miraidon hear the sounds of the race, they break into a dash… and Liko and Roy somehow end up entering the race as a result.
